2. Everything Stays on Your Device

All the todos you create, the links you save, and the categories you set up are saved locally in your own browser using the `chrome.storage.local` API. We do not have servers that look at your data. Your information belongs to you.

3. No Account Required

Zilly Todo does not require you to sign up or create an account. Because the extension doesn't need to talk to the internet to work, you can be sure that your browsing habits and tasks are not being tracked or sent anywhere.

4. Permissions Explained

Zilly Todo requires certain permissions to function properly:

• storage: To save your todos locally in the browser.
• activeTab: To get current page info when adding todos.
• contextMenus: To add right-click menu options for quick capture.
• notifications: To show confirmations when adding todos.
• scripting: To get selected text from web pages.

These permissions are strictly used to provide the core functionality of the extension and are never used to track you.

5. Exporting Your Data

We offer a feature that lets you export your todo data to JSON or Markdown formats. When you use this feature, the file is created directly on your device. We do not see this file or send it to anyone. You have full control over what you do with it.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we ever add new features (like optional Cloud Sync in the future), we will update this policy to explain how they work. However, our commitment to keeping your core data safe and private will never change.
